What Does a Prompt Engineer Do?

An AI prompt engineer is a professional who works on developing and refining artificial intelligence (AI) models using prompt engineering techniques.

Prompt engineering involves designing and crafting natural language prompts that are used to generate responses from AI models such as language models or chatbots. These prompts can be used to elicit a particular type of response or steer the model's output towards a desired direction.

As an AI prompt engineer, some of the tasks may require you develop prompt sets, design experiments to test the effectiveness of prompts, and improve the quality of AI models.
